In Australia all children born with facial deformities have ready access to surgical and reconstructive care supported by the Commonwealth Government.

Disadvantaged children with severe facial deformities, burns and scars in under-developed     countries of the world are less fortunate.  These children grow up as outcasts in their society; they receive no education, and are ridiculed, abused and considered unworthy by their peers.

With your help Interplast Australia can continue to change the lives of these disadvantaged children and their families enabling them to become active members in their community.

Interplast is a non-profit joint venture between Rotary Australia and the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons to provide surgical and reconstructive care.

All of the Australian and New Zealand surgeons, anaesthetists, nurses and Rotarians provide their time and expertise as unpaid volunteers.  As a result the cost of this major surgery averages only A$500 per operation.

Interplast teams have already successfully treated many young patients and local surgical teams have been trained to continue this type of surgery.

Through its broad community network, The Rotary Club of Kenwick seeks your help in raising funds to support this outstanding project.  Rotary gives you the commitment that no fund raising costs will be deducted from your donations to Interplast.
